RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

We offer free exchanges and easy returns on most jewellery bought at full price. Items sent back for a refund or exchange must be unworn, in new condition, with all tags attached and in its original packaging.

All refunds are subject to a restocking fee, to help cover our return shipping costs.

** Sale items or items purchased using a discount code ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for refunds or exchanges. Items purchased using a newsletter discount code are eligible for exchanges only. Please see point 5 below for clarification.

1. JEWELLERY RETURNS:

Full Priced jewellery shipped within North America is eligible for a refund less a restocking fee.

You are able to return all jewellery that was purchased at its full price up to 21 days after purchase. Returns must be pre-approved by Alia Weston (the company). Please email info@aliaweston.com in order to start the return process and include your order number in the email. We are unable to process any returns or exchanges that fail to request permission beforehand.

Once you have contacted us and your return is approved we will email you a return label and customs documentation* which you will need to print out and attach to the package. The package will then need to be dropped off at a nearby FedEx location. If the item is returned unused and is in its original condition a refund, less a restocking fee** will be issued.

**Please note that orders being returned from outside of Canada will require customs paperwork. If Alia Weston (the company) is providing a return free of charge, we will provide you with all of the necessary paperwork which you will simply need to print and attach to the package you are returning to us. If the package is returned to you due to lack of documents, you will be charged any additional fees incurred. If you are returning the goods to us at your own expense, please make sure they are labelled as a return with a low value. Any customs fees associated with your return will be charged to the customer.

**Items will be subjected to the following restocking fees:

Return from within Canada: $15

Returns from the USA: $25

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item is no longer in sellable condition. If the item is approved, your refund will be automatically issued to the original method of payment. We will notify you as soon as we process the return. Transactions can often take several business days to appear on your credit card statement.

We do not accept returns or exchanges that are not pre-approved by email.

Sale items or items purchased using a discount code ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for refunds or exchange. We do not process refunds on jewellery over $750. Refund requests over $750 will result in a $750 refund and the remaining balance in-store credit.

Once you have contacted us and your return is approved, you will be asked to ship the item back to us at your expense. You will have 14 days to return the item to us once the return is authorized. Please ensure that that the packaged is marked as a “Return” and that it has a total customs value of $10 or less. If you fail to label the return correctly you will be billed for any charges incurred.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item is no longer in sellable condition. If the item is approved, your refund will be automatically issued to the original method of payment. You will be refunded the cost of the item, but not the shipping charges. We will notify you as soon as we process the return. Transactions can often take several business days to appear on your credit card statement.

Sale items or discount newsletter items returned in accordance with Canadian law or other laws will be subject to a restocking fee of $50. We do not process refunds on jewellery over $750. 3. JEWELLERY EXCHANGES:

Full Priced jewellery shipped within North America are eligible for free exchanges

We are happy to exchange items if the product you received was the wrong size, colour, or style, and would like to exchange it for another item on our website. You are able to exchange any jewellery that was purchased at full price up to 21 days after purchase.

Exchanges must be pre-approved by Alia Weston (The Company). We ask that you email info@aliaweston.com in order to start the exchange process. In your email please make note of the order number, and if you have already made a selection of the new item you would like to exchange it for, please let us know so we can set it aside for you. We are unable to process any exchanges that fail to request approval beforehand.

If the item is returned unused and is in its original condition we will ship out the replacement item to you at no additional cost to you.

Exchanged items will not be eligible for further exchange or refund. We accept one exchange per order. If the exchange item is valued at more than your original purchase, you will be invoiced for the difference prior to shipping. If the exchange item is valued at less than your original purchase, you will receive a store credit which can be used on any full priced jewellery for a 12 month period. Store credits must be used in one transaction.

If you wish to exchange something from outside of North America, we ask that you return the item to us at your expense and once the return is processed, we will send you the item you would like to exchange it for. You will be responsible for the shipping charges associated with the new item we are sending out, these will need to be paid before we ship the replacement items. We are happy to hold any full priced item for you during this process, simply let us know what you would like.

5. DISCOUNTED JEWELLERY

All jewellery purchased on sale or with a discount code is final sale and is not eligible for refund or exchange.

Items bought with the newsletter sign up a discount code of 15% are eligible for exchange if the customer returns the goods within 21 days of purchase, at their own expense. Items purchased with the newsletter sign up discount code are not eligible for a refund. All exchanges must be pre-approved by emailing info@aliaweston.com.

6. REFUSED OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

If the shipping company fails to reach you in order to deliver the package, we may contact you by email with instructions on how to arrange a delivery. If your item is not final sale, and it is returned, either because it was refused or because the customer did not respond to delivery requests from the delivery company or ourselves, you will be offered a credit note minus the original shipping fee, the return shipping costs, and a restocking fee of $25. If the item returned was final sale, then the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs, the re-shipping costs, and a $25 processing fee.

All returns will need to be shipped to Canada. Please make sure to contact alia@aliaweston.com for prior approval before returning an item.

7. UNRESPONSIVE COMMUNICATIONS

We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on any item if the customer is unresponsive to emails or other communications. Please respond to all communications within 14 days, all offers are rescinded if the customer does not respond within a 14 day time frame.
